Bob, This probably won't help you too much, but you might end up with some info to help me.
My mother's step-father was Bartholemew Piorun. He married my grangmother in Phila. in about 1902; her name was Katerina Plachta-Ratajski. Bartholemew had 6 children prior to marrying Katerina; she also had 6 by her ist husband. To my knowlwdge, everything happened in Phila.
