I descend from the MOSS family of Limestone Co AL. I am interested in who Catherine MOSS was who m Pleasant PIPES on 22 Sep 1850 in Limestone. I found a Philip PIPES m Peggy Ann HILL, 5 Jul 1839 in Limestone, however it does say no return.
I am in touch with an early HILL family in Limestone, but I am not sure if they were there that early, I really think in 1850, those HILLs were in MS.
I don't have an exact date of when this census was taken, but it could have been earlier than when Pleasant and Catherine were married. If you find out anything about Catherine's heritage, I would appreciate knowing that. I have lots of data on MOSS family there.
