Clarence and Fannie Pipes lived in Gray County, TX in 1920-30's. He was Texas Ranger and County Sheriff until his death in 1933. Fannie was his cousin and after his death, she was appointed Sheriff (the first woman sheriff in state) by Governor. Fannie is my maternal Grandmother's sister. Will be glad to share info.
