I am trying to trace my Pipes Family Tree, my great grandfather was James Elijah or Jim Eli Pipes, he lived in Trinity, Texas. He was born in La. He married a Minnie Andrews in 1879, I found a James Pipes in the 1860 Tyler Co., Texas census which appears to be your James H., but the dates match up to be my Jim Eli. Could there be a mistake on James middle name? Do you know who his children were, if there were any? Thank you in advance for your reply. Sincerely, Mary Jane Pipes Frank
