Harry PIPES (b. abt 1867) came to the US, Brooklyn, N.Y. from Lenton, England around 1889 from there he and his wife Gertrude and sons Harry Jr., Arthur and Ernest went to Pawtucket, Providence, R.I. Harry worked in the lace trade in R.I. Harry and Gertrude had two more sons: Albert and Alfred and two daughters: Gertrude and Marion. Harry died in 1928 in Rhode Island. Harry Jr. PIPES (R.I. Policeman) married Clara WILLOUGHBY daughter of Frank Walter Roper WILLOUGHBY & Mary Jane BREARLEY WILLOUGHBY from Nottingham, England but came to the states when she was very young. Her family were also in the lace trade. Ernest married Mary MAKLIN daughter of Giles & Sarah MILLS MAKIN. Gertrude married James PAPPAS and Marion married Albert ARNOLD. I know that one of the boys moved to Calf. Are you related to these? I would love to hear from you.
