In doing my research, I have heard of this Franklin and Spring connection. I think it has to do with William B. Pitchlynn. I will check my records and send a message to the forum or to Neale Brown about this. I really think it has to do with one of the grandchildren of Major John Pitchlynn. Major John was born 6/11/1764 (this date comes from Rhoda Howell's bible records--see the Folsom genealogy page) in South Carolina in the Parish of St. Thomas. Major John told a trader that he was from South Carolina. They were also related to the Hickman and the Hornbeck families.
