Rebecca,

Welcome to the club! You'll notice if you look through the archives here that Phyllis King has posted a number of inquiries about Peggy Pitchlynn. She and I are distant cousins and you would be as well. We haven't had any luck getting to the bottom of the Pitchlynn connection. Quite a mystery. I'd be interested to know your family line. Phyllis is a descendant of Nancy Ann Brown, the daughter of James Rowland Brown and Peggy Pitchlynn. I'm a descendant of Thomas Brown's son, Robert Lewis Brown, the grandson of James and Peggy. I've also come across another cousin of ours who is a descendant of William James Brown, the oldest son of Thomas. You can send to my e-mail address if you prefer.

Ken Smith
