Thanks for the info. I guess we're a bit more distant cousins than I assumed. Your first message said that you thought Thomas Brown was your g-g-g-g grandfather, but it looks like from what you are saying here that he was actually a cousin. If I am understanding correctly, Thomas' father, James Rowland Brown would have been your g-g-g-g uncle (brother of your g-g-g grandmother, Juliett Brown).
