If you would like, I can send you a genealogy of the Pitchlynns that has been put together by Kerry Armstrong. It might be something there that can help you. I just don't know where this Franklin comes into the Pitchlynn family. I have seen this before, but can't remember where I saw this name related to the Pitchlynns. All of the earily Pitchlynns are pretty much documented by several researchers. If there is a Franklin, then it is one of the later family members who married into this family. Also, there are two other Pitchlynn families who are not documented and we have been unable to connect them to the family of Major John Pitchlynn. There was a family of Pitchlynns who just took on the name of Pitchlynn, and he started calling himself John Pitchlynn (Chatafataya). Then there is the Pitchlynn family who lived at Tishomingo. We just can't connect them to the Pitchlynns. We has continue to look for a connection. Thanks.
