Can anyone tell me who this Betsy Pitchlynn is? She lived around Goodland mission in the Choctaw Nation. Her parents were Ah-ta-ma-tubbee and Ah-ta-la-huna. She is suppose to to have died Jan. 30, 1901. She is listed on the 1896 Choctaw Roll as Betsy. She was full blood and at the age of 88 when she died. So she was born 1813 in Mississippi. I can only guess that she was probably the wife of Ebenezer J. Pitchlynn. If anyone has any ideas about her, please email me with your suggestions: B2252@aol.com
Betsy Pitchlynn also collected payment ($40) as an heir of Pashebanowa. Thanks. Bob
