Margaret " Peggy " PITCHLYNN
Posted by: Phyllis Date: March 12, 2002 at 20:39:34

I'm announcing this for any Brown researchers that care to contact me .
For over 100 years Maragret , the wife of James Rowland BROWN b. 1799 Va. d. Bet. 1850 -1853 , has been portrayed as : Margaret " Peggy " PITCHLYNN based on testimony given at the Dawes Commission 1895-1903 .
I have researched this in this direction for a year and have finally found the true heritage of Margaret with the help of another researcher . Margaret's surname is NOT PITCHLYNN .
I have put together a text of which has been sent for copyright . It lists all the sources , some testimony and conclusions with many facts in this case .If anyone would care to contact me , you can at pking@peppersnet.com
