Peter Pitchlynn

I'm researching my family's bloodline and am in dire need of help.

What I do know is that my Great Great Grandfather's full name was Peter Paul Pitchlynn, he had a son, my great grandfather, named Julian Clyde Pitchlynn, but everyone called him Jack. Some say they were Choctaw, other say Chickasaw, but I've been unable to find any Peter Paul's who were Chickasaw, so Im assuming it would be Choctaw. I've found several Peter Pitchlynns but have been unable to verify which is him. Does anyone know how I can find out which Peter Pitchlynn had a son named Julian, or Jack, or possibly know of how I can find out more about them, or any good places to research?

Thank you for your help.
