Maybe this will give you some clues:
PERRY, MORGAN - Chickasaw, was first mentioned in 1847, when he was listed on the tribal census as being one quarter white, and over age 18. He then owned one slave. In 1855 he lived in Blue County, his household including ISABELLE, CATHERINE, PATSY,MARY, LEVI, and ELI. MORGAN was listed on the 1857 - 1860 annuity rolls, and Morgan's "child" was listed seperately in 1858. In 1878, his children ELI, MORGAN, and HENRY, were listed as residents of Panola County. It seems that he was married at least twice, and some evidence tends to show he may have had at least one other wife.
He and ISABELLE were the parents of:
ELIZABETH MINERVA PERRY, born 1865, married JOEL CARR KEMP
LEVI PERRY, married ELLEN WILLIS
He and ELIZABETH SPRING were the parents of
ELI PERRY born 1859, married AMY GOLDSBY KNIGHT, they divorced, he then married EMMA BIRD
JOSEPH PERRY , born 1861.
HENRY CLAY PERRY, born 1865, married EMMA FRANK WEBB.
