This is certainly a new slant on a family I have searched for years! The Caroline Purvis that I have tracked was born in 1823. She moved with her family from AL to MS and married Thomas Jefferson Franklin in 1845. If you check out my stuff about TJF, you will find an iteresting mystery, or hoax. For sure there is TOO MUCH smoke about Indian Blood in the family, for there to be no fire! Caroline is buried at Antioch Cemetery in Rankin County MS. Marker states "Wife of Thomas Jefferson Franklin.". I have never found Carolines' father or TJFs father for certain.
