Yes, there is a book on the Pitchlynns and the Lincecums telling this whole story about the relationship. There have several books on the Pitchlynns in the library. One of them is the book on Peter Pitchlynn, Chief of The Choctaws. The other book is: Adventures of a frontier Naturalist, The life and times of Dr. Gideon Lincecum, Edited by Jerry Bryan Lincecum and Edward Hake Phillips. It should be in the library in most collections. You know that Major John Pitchlynn's mother was a cousin to the Lincecums and the Hickmans. Both families were related to Jim Bowie and Davie Crockett. Well, Cousin, Happy Hunting. Bob
