If you would like the court records concerning the case of Thomas Pitchlynn Brown and his mother Margaret "Peggy" Pitchlynn, you can get the whole court packet
at the University of Oklahoma, Western History Library. You can order the whole case. It is about 40 pages long. It gives all of the information that was in court about his family and that he was the descendant of Margaret "Peggy" Pitchlynn. He said that Margaret was the daughter of John "Jack" Pitchlynn Jr. I am glad to hear that you are one of the descendants of Thomas Brown. Thomas stated that he stayed with Thomas Jefferson Pitchlynn when he came back from the Civil War. Thomas J. Pitchlynn is my great-great-grandfather. Your family records on this lineage is at the Western History Library at the University of Oklahoma in the Cornish Collection. You will be so happy to get all of this. There maybe some clues to other family members in this folder. Thanks. Bob
