You should look into the records at the University of Oklahoma, Western History Library. They have a collection on your Thomas Pitchlynn Brown in the Cornish Collection. It is about 50 pages of information concerning the court case he brought against the tribes trying to be admitted into the Choctaw Nation. He related that he was a descendant of the real Pitchlynn family (Major Pitchlynn and Chief Peter Pitchlynn). He gives his wife's name and all of his family members. What information do you have on past down stuff on the family? Thanks. Bob
