Pitchlynn Family Genealogy Forum

I would like any information on the family of Richard Kimbale. Richard was the father of Angeline Kimble Pitchlynn. Angeline was George Pitchlynn's first wife. She was enrolled into the Chickasaw Nation as 1/4 Indian. Her father was Richard Kimble who married Maulsie Mahardy on April 12, 1872 at Tishomingo. Richard Kimble stated that he was from New Jersey and served in the Civil War conflict. He also stated that he was African American and that his parents were freedman born before the Civil War. Richard indicated that he was never a Slave. Maulsie Mahardy had a sister named: Wyatt Mahardy. Angeline had one sister named: Amanda Kimble. Amanda married a man named: Abrams. Richard Kimble didn't get on the rolls as an intermarried citizen. However, one of his children, Angeline Kimble Pitchlynn, did get on the Chickasaw Rolls as a Citizen. Any information that you may have on this family is appreciated. Most of these Mahardy's are buried in the James' Cemetery at Davis, OK. Bob
