I believe your Pitcocks were from New Market, Al.. the will of Moses Poore Sr who died in 1819 is witnessed by John and Jacob Pitcock in Madison County..probated in Jan 1820... Moses wife Sarah died in 1822 Madison County...mentions Campbells.. Three of my grandfathers oldest bro's (out of 16 kids) married Pitcock sisters.. Two are buried at Mount Paran Cemetery (Al Register of Historic Places) and one is buried at Rice Cemetery.. Mrs. John Riley Edwards... The two at Mount Paran are Carrie Edwards wife of Leonard Edwards and Georgia Alfie Edwards.. love to hear the story about Rebecca Baker.. think she is also my family... the above 3 Edwards men were sons of John Henry Edwards 1850AL-1928Al and his wife Adalaide Sims Edwards 1858AL-1930 Al also buried at Mount Paran..John's father was Jessie Edwards born 1810Al and died 1905 Al buried at the Baker Family cemetery in Upper Hurricane... What do you know about Rebecca? Conaleuski@yahoo.com
