You stated that you have been doing family research for over 20 yrs on this family. I have just recently connected to the line of John Pitcock and Mary Fisher. Their daughter Sarah married John Golden in Washington Co. Tennessee Aug.1,1833. John and Sarah left Tennessee between 1844-1847. The moved to Monroe County Kentucky. Would you happen to know the name of the town that this branck of the Pitcocks lived in in Kentucky? I have record that John died in Monroe County in 1855. After the death of Sarah Pitcock Golden, 11-13-1854, John Golden married Delilah Page. I am searching for information on her as well. I believe that she was either married to a Page before her marriage to John Golden in 1857. Delilah and John raised a boy by the name of Henry Thomas Page. Delilah was listed has his mother on his death certificate. There were several Jackson families in the Monroe County area and I see from some of the entries on this site that at least one Pitcock woman married a Jackson in Monroe Co. The mystery here is that when Henry Thomas Page was 11 he was living with John and Delilah and several of John and Sarah's children. When he was 20 he was still listed as a Page in the household. Sometime after 1870 Henry Thomas Page assumed the name of Henry Thomas Jackson....would anyone have any knowledge of Delilah and a Jackson male before her marriage to John Golden? What happened to the children of John and Sarah? These are the children that I have listed for John Golden and Sarah Pitcock Golden. Elizabeth b. 1834 tn Louisa b. 1837 tn John b. 1839 tn Sarah b. 1841 tn Nancy b. 1843 tn Martha b. 1844 tn Amanda b. 1847 Ky George b. 1851 Ky Any help with the parentage of John Golden b. abt 1810 in Tn would be greatly appreciated.
