Memories are popping up a little at a time. In the last years of her life, Lizzie spent several months a year with my mother and several months with my uncle Floyd in San Antonio. If there were times spent with another of her children I'm not aware of it. The last time she stayed with Floyd & Dood she fell and broke her hip. They ended up having to put her in a nursing home. Dood was a little bitty woman and Grandma was pretty good sized. 5'9" and big boned. Dood wouldn't have been able to care for her at home. I have no doubt she was buried next to Grandpa but she actually died In San Antonio.

Also, I last saw T.L. at mothers funeral. He was living near Fort Worth and had remarried a very nice lady. She was a school teacher. I talked to him by phone a couple of times but did not see him again before he died.

I haven't seen Dwight since the last time he worked for my step father. I don't remember the exact time but it was during the time the Houston International Airport was being built late 60's early 70's maybe. The last I heard someone said he had moved to Louisiana but I can't confirm that.

I was still in high school when Choc (Charlie) died. He also worked for my step father for a short time in Corpus Christi.

I have no idea who Buster "Buck" Pitcox is.
