I have just started researching my family history. My grandmother was Alta V. Pitcock daughter of John Pitcock. After reading a follow-up to your post I now believe that her mother deceased (?) and my great-grandfather remarried. Any information you could share with me about Ethel would be greatly appreciated as she was my grandmother's sister. I live in Texarkana, Texas so all I have access to is the internet. My grandmother married Lem Hudson moved to Jefferson County Alabama. She died right after giving birth. My dad was 3 years old at the time.
