Ref. to William Brannon.
He removed from VA to Washinton County, TN. He may have stopped in Southwest Virginia for a while, because he had sold his land in Wythe Co. VA, while living in TN. He first appeared in Washington Co. TN in 1799. Left TN abt 1816 for Indiana. I found a petition he had signed in Frederick Co. VA Nov. 1796. He opposed to exempting Quakers and Menonists from militia duty. I have a copy of his signature, he sign William Brannon. We may never know what happen to Jerusha, especially if she died enroute to IND.
