Libby, The Hannah Fielding you mentioned is the wife of THOMAS PITTMAN who was the grandson of Captain THOMAS PITTMAN.They were the parents of AMBROSE PITTMAN who was the father of ELISHA PITTMAN, who was the father of MATTHEW SR., who was the father of MATTHEW JR., who was the father of JOHN HARKEY PITTMAN, who was the father of EMEZIAH PITTMAN, who was the father of JAMES SAMUEL PITTMAN,who was the father of THOMAS GLENN PITTMAN (MY DAD). That is if my info is correct! My MOM'S PITTMAN side starting with my Grandma is LAURA PITTMAN-DAVIS,WALTER PITTMAN,ENOS PITTMAN, THOMAS AUGUSTUS PITTMAN, ICHABOD PITTMAN, JOHN PITTMAN,JOHN PITTMAN. That is as far back as I have gone for now. As I said before the DNA test showed that I am connected to THOMAS PITTMAN on both sides of my family which comes as no real surprise as lots of cousins married back then! I am sure we are probably kin somewhere down the line. I do know my PITTMANS' migrated from Virginia to the Carolinas,to Georgia, to Alabama and then to Mississippi. If I run across any more info I will mail you. Thanks for corresponding! Vince
