The Hannah Fielding you mentioned was married to Thomas Pit(t)man who was a grandson of John Pitman who was first found in the Lancaster County, Va., court record books on 10 June 1677. It also states that he was a servant who had earned his freedom. Thru the DNA program he is not related to the Pit(t)man's of Surry County, Va., but has been identified as being related to several Pit(t)mans in the U.S. and England.
