Nathan PITTMAN, Jr. or (II) was born in 1663 in Halifax Co., NC. He and his father are found in the US 1800 Census of Robeson Co., NC. Nathan PITMAN, Jr had no sons in the US 1800 Census only a daughter. You need to find out the father of Lindsey PITTMAN. Nathan PITTMAN, Sr. was not named William. It was illegal to give a child a second name in the English colonies unless your family was royality. They stated using middle names after the Rev. War.
