I am searching for Mary Pitner b. abt. 1818 in Saxony (according to the 1870 Two Rivers, WI census. Shown in this census are her sons Charles, Richard and Fred and a daughter named Agnes (all born in WI). Also mentioned is Maggie, the wife of Charles, and their son Charles Osker.

The line I am researching is Mary's son Frederick > August > Herman > Herman. From my research I have found that Fred had changed his name to Bitner somewhere around 1900 as the 1895 census shows Pitner and the 1905 shows Bitner.

I think this is the same family. Will share information.

Loryce
