Thank you for your response. Here is what I have. Sarah McGaughey was my g-g-g-
aunt.My g-g-grandfather was Robert B. McGaughey, her brother. Pitners, Varnells,
Brookers and McGaugheys were are all related
by marriage. There was a newspaper article
written by a friend of Major T. H. Pitner in
1878 telling about a birthday party given by
him for his family. At the party were Pitners,McGaugheys, Brookers, And Varnells.
I have a copy of that article, as do most McGaughey family tree keepers. Let me know
your address and I'll send you a lot of info on these families.
The dates for Major Pitner you have.
Sarah McGaughey b. Nov. 24, 1801.
I have nothing on any children.
