Hello --

Just wondering if anyone has connections to:

William Henry Pitner, born February 10, 1838 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co, Ohio. He died in Red Oak, Iowa in January 1911.

Married Nancy Ann Lloyd March 20, 1861 in McDonough Co, IL. Known children:
Safrona b abt 1862/illinois
Jane b. abt. 1867 / Illinois
Lunetta b. abt. 1869 / illinois
Edward b. abt. 1871 / iowa
George F. b. abt. 1878 / Iowa

William may have been raised by his maternal grandparents: Joseph and Elizabeth James. William (age 12) and a sister, Roseallen (age 13) are both listed on the 1850 census, Muskingum Co., OH; Falls Township. William and Roseallen may have been the children of Richard Pitner and Ann James Pitner, m. 1833 in MD. Ann died sometime after Wm's birth, and Richard remarried and moved to PA; some of his children eventually moved back to Jefferson and Belmont Co's, Ohio.

If you have additional info, or would like additional info about Richard's children, please contact me!

Debbie
