I am a Pitsenbarger and I have a family tree that indicates that I am a descendant of Abraham Pitsenbarger. I have an uncle who was in the ARMY, Pfc Dennis Pitsenbarger (also known as Cliff, who was a war hero of the Vietnam War. He died in action in 1965. I am trying to see how I am related to AIC William Pitsenbarger of Ohio who was also a war hero. He died also but in 1967. As a matter of fact, AIC William Pitsenbarger has a USAF award named after him. My dad and his parents and my Uncle Dennis "Cliff" Pitsenbarger are from Doe Hill/McDowell, VA. If anyone knows anymore info, please contact me at pits@worldnet.att.net.
