What a beautiful tribute
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ron Tarburton and I am the Regional Director of a new organization called the Family and Friends of the Congressional Medal of Honor. We were formed at a convention in Pueblo Colorado this last October 2.
The reason for our founding was to locate and draw together as many family members of the Medal of Honor recipients that we could find and get them towork for their families and all the other families. To do work to expand public knowledge of these 3400 plus men and one woman who have been awarded the highest decoration their country can bestow.
This is no kind of solicitation. It is merely a plea.
The mid-Atlantic region, designated Reion 2, includes Delaware , Pa, Maryland, Va, West Va.,
Wash. DC, Ohio and Kentucky. .If you fall into that
slot or you know family of this man who does then
please consider joining us. We area 501c organization and are putting together our by-laws and Constitution even as I speak. Membership fees will be modest and have not yet been fixed but the greatest you will be asked to give will come from your heart.
