Was a Lt commander in the US Navy by 1917 He sevved on the MT Vernon

I had met his daughter who had given me some info which I will be passing along soon If you want a copy send me your address again

Cool(54F) and rainy in Anchorage , Alaska today. The salmon run has been non existent in Western Alaska. Hope all in well down under. Just saw a great article in National Geographic Magazine.
