I have just started tracing my fathers line. Franco Placensia was my 5th great grandfather, the only info I have on him is that he was born in Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain. Franco had 2 sons, Gaspar and Juan Franco my 4th great grandfather. I have found the family tree but other than dates, places, marriages, and decendancy I can find little else. They changed the name to Plaisance (I'm sure you know this) but I cannot find out when they did so. If you have any other informtion about the family I would very much appreciate seeing what you have. I would be glad to give you any information I have. Please feel free to email me if you wish. We know very little about our ancestors as most of my fathers family has passed away and the ones still here know nothing. Hope you are interested in trading infor. Looking forward to hearing from you.
