Humphrey Plant, Michael Plant, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
There is a graveyard in the Parish of Noughavil, Co. Westmeath with a gravestone that reads:
"Pray for the Soul of Michael Plant" Died 17 December 1738. Erected by Humphrey Plant.
My Great-Great-Grandmother was a Plant we believe. She was married to Patrick Murphy(my Great-Great-Grandfather) and they had a daughter(my great-grandmother), Anne Murphy (1843-1918), who married James Connaughton(my great-grandfather), in 1868 in Tang, Co Westmeath. They are buried in the plot with Michael Plant along with other family members. If you can shed any light on this I would be very grateful.

Here lieth the Body of Hannah Plant alias Morgan wife to
Thos. Plant who departed this life Jany. the 18th, 1808,
aged 36 yrs. Erected by her Brother in law Humphey
