Okay, now that I've had a few days to sit with all this...
#30 Augustin Lagrenade, son of Augustin & Margeurite Longtin Lagrenade, widower of Louise Bouchard, married 29 Dec 1846 Louise Duvall
source: Mariages-Marrieges (1830-1880) Compte de Clinton County (New York) No. 106, Benoit Pontbriand
I notice you have him marrying Marie Bouchard... are Marie and Louise the same person? Do you by any chance know the names of their children?
#22 is listed on an 1860 New York census as John V La Grenade with his wife Zoe and the following children: Matilda-21, Camille-18, John-16, Cosmere-14, Suzet-12, Francis-10, a name I can't read Ch---ostum?-8, Leon-4, and Dibon-1.
Most of the family I've found used the "dit nome" LaGrenade (or some mispelling of same) when they were on the American side of the border.
I would love any help in sorting out the ones I have found on the various census sheets from 1850-1870.
Thank You.
