<< Augustin Lagrenade, son of Augustin & Margeurite Longtin Lagrenade, widower of Louise Bouchard, married 29 Dec 1846 Louise Duvall source: Mariages-Marrieges (1830-1880) Compte de Clinton County (New York) No. 106, Benoit Pontbriand
I notice you have him marrying Marie Bouchard... are Marie and Louise the same person? Do you by any chance know the names of their children?>>
If I can butt in here, you will find the names of at least some of the children of Augustin PLANQUE and Marie BOUCHARD on my WorldConnect web site at: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=rbrtslm. Almost all French-Canadian females were baptised Marie Something in days past, so it is likely that Louise and Marie are one and the same if the surname is the same.
BTW, the "original" surname, PLANTIER, has been seen as PLANQUE/PLANQUIER/PLANQUAIS/PLANKEY, and possibly others. LeGrenade was originally a dit name which some of the descendants have adopted. If you would like to discuss further, contact me via the link on the WorldConnect site. Larry Roberts
