Thanks for the prompt reply, Phil. I'll cogitate on it a bit. I was very interested in your post because my GGM was Marie PLANQUIER/PLANKEY/PLANTIER/etc., but she married my GGF, Elie ROBERT in 1856 and probably died sometime after the 1870 census and before the 1880 census. I suspect she died between 1875 and 1877, probably in Black Brook, Clinton County, NY. She was age 11 in the 1850 census living at home with her father Francois PLANTIER and step-mother, Salomee LEMIEUX.
