Dear Mary,

The project is still running. To request that a 12-marker testing kit be sent to you, you just need to complete the on-line form at:

http://www.familytreedna.com/surname_join.asp?code=W51509&special=true

There are a couple of points I should add. The Y-DNA test can only be taken by males, so you will need to find a male relative called Plantier. Also, no other Plantier has yet been tested, so you could compare your result with others with Plantier-like names but not yet with another Plantier. It would be good if you could get the Plantier ball rolling however -- someone has to be first.

Thanks for your interest,

John Plant
