Playford Family Genealogy Forum

Alfred Playford, a baker/confectioner emigrated to (maybe)Ontario, Canada in early 1900`s from Norwich, England, where his family had been bakers for many, many years. His brother, David Thomas Playford was my grandfather who owned a bakery in Rose Lane, Norwich.
Alfred had at least one son, name David, who is my late mother`s cousin. David stayed with us in Norwich during World War Two when he came to England as member of Canadian Army. He may have been a lumberjack in civilian life. His children are recorded on an old photo, which my sister has, as Russell, Cecilia (spelling?), Nora, Lonnie and Alice. They would now be from late 60 years old! Would like to contact them or their descendants or anybody with details of their whereabouts now. many Thanks!!
