Hi Pat -
So pleased to find your message on the forum - I've recently started researching my Playford family (from South Africa - more travellers!)and have worked my way back to Northrepps, from one of the rowing Playfords via three Henrys (the earliest died in Stoke Newington in 1782)and a John (buried in the church at Northrepps) - I would be so grateful if you could let me have any information you might have on them... Also I'm intrigued by your mention of a "family record type of book" - is there any way I might be able to get a copy?
Regards,
Alison
