Jim, thanks for the great information. Some additional information that I have gleaned - Deborah (Laws) Hickey was first married to Alexander Hickey. They had three children namely Sarah, Alexander and John. William Heverin was previously married to Charlotte (Laws) McDaniel the widow of Joseph McDaniel and they had two children namely William Laws Heverin and James Laws Heverin. Deborah and William Heverin had two boys, namely Charles and Outten Laws. After the death of William Heverin, Deborah (Laws) Hickey Heverin married Thurston Davis. I still don't know when the Pleasantons came to America. I show John Pleasant, who married a "widow" Lester, to be in Delaware in 1705. They were married around 1720 and had 5 children namely Johnathon, John, Mary, Deborah, and David who married Deborah Luff. If you obtain any additional information regarding the coming of the Pleasantons to America or on John Pleasanton (born 1762) and his decendents I would appreciate receiving it. Thanks.
