I have a death memorial card for a priest by the name of Oriva J. Pleau, born in Three Rivers, Mass. 21 May, 1897 and died as pastor of St-Jean-Baptiste parish at Chartierville, P.Q., Canada on 25 May, 1939 at the age of 42 yrs, and 4 days. I have no idea why this memorial card was in my grandmother's belongings, but I have kept it all these years, trying to figure out what the connection was.

Can anyone shed light on a possible connection to the Cliche or Lamothe or Valliere families?

Does anyone have any idea who his parents were?

Trying to solve a mystery, and hoping for answers,

Regards, Linnie
