It is quite possible that there was an error in the marriage record.
I have a Jean-Baptiste Pleau who married Leocadie Lacombe on 20 Nov. 1849 in the catholic parish of Notre-Dame-de-la-Vistation at Champlain, Quebec.
They had a girl named Marie-Louise born on October 13, 1850 in Trois-Rivières, Québec.
Jean-Baptiste Pleau died on December 9 1852 in Champlain and was burried there on the December 11.
He was the son of Raymond Pleau and of Archange Gagon born in Québec on September 19, 1821.
From what I know Marie-Louise is the only child of Jean-Baptiste Pleau and Leocadie Lacombe.
