I am related to the Philomean Pleau that you speak of in St. Louis although I don't have any info that shows her as a resident of NY in 1910. 1910 Census shows her in St. Louis.

She was born Philomean Pleau in 1855 in NY, resided in St. Louis in 1870, married Valentine Weitz in 1883 (both Philomean and Valentine work in shoe factory , had son Julius Valentine Weitz in 1889.

Her second marriage is to Joseph Schell abt 1907. She died in 1933 and is buried at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in St. Louis.

Here mother is Elmira Pleau who became Elmira Pretaboir by a second marriage and is buried with Philomean.

If this is the same person you are researching, I would like any additional info you have.

Thanks.
