My daughter is descended from Simeon L. Pledger and Kizziah Driver through their daughter Elizabeth Frances Pledger, who married George Thomas Sanders in Elbert County, Georgia. Her brothers, Simeon Leavister Pledger and William P. Pledger, both served in the Civil War in Co. I, 15th Georgia Volunteer Infantry from Elbert County, Georgia. Simeon Leavister Pledger married Edney P. Bond on 1 Decemer 1853 in Elbert County. William P. Pledger married Arrenia Ford. The only child that I know of William P. was Nancy A., who lived with her grandmother Kizziah in 1860. Which child do you descend from? Perhaps we can help each other out.
