Sorry it has taken me so long to respond
Simeon Levister and Issac M. Pledger were brothers. Isaac is my Great(x3)Grandfather. They appear to both be sons of Thomas Pledger. I have seen conflicting historical data that says there are 2 Thomas Pledgers ( father and son )
The Sr of them was a Revolutionary War Vet. Recieved a land grant for Elberton Co Ga. That is why the family seems to come from that area for those of us that were born here.
As far as the Civil War goes. It is interesting that Simeon and William fought in the 15th Georgia Volunteer Infantry. Marshall ( Isaac's Son ) fought w/ his brothers in the 52 N.Carolina Infantry Co.G.. If I can help I will try and be more punctual
