Dear Mary,
Just saw your notes. Nancy Adeline Pledger was my great grandmother. I have not been able to locate anything about her mother's family (Ford). Several Pledger searchers have been very generous with the information on that side. Nancy Adeline was nicknamed "Addie" and was apparently a tiny little lady with dark hair and eyes. (My mother was supposed to look very much like her, Katherine Essie Johnson). Nancy married John Wiley Booth of Dewy Rose, GA. and their daughter, Essie Catherine Booth, was my grandmother. Hope we can help each other as we learn more. There was a story that one of my GA ancestors died in Florida and was buried there. I supposed it to be another person, but I wonder if it could have been William P. Pledger? I will need to check this out further. Thank you.
Sandra Due, San Antonio
