I am the grandaughter of Walter and Grace Pleger. Walter was the brother of the twins, Fred and Julius. Walter and Grace had 12 children. My mother was Mildred Pleger. There are some Plegers still in Oil City,my home town. Paul's family live on Bissell Avenue and the alley where Walter and Grace's old homestead was. The family of one of the twin brothers also owns a home on the same alley off of Bissell Ave. Paul's children are still living in town. Juanita and Gregory and probably Dean too. The surviving children of Walter are Walter Jr., Bud who lives in Colorado. Donnie is in North Carolina, Bob is in Virginia, Donna and Alice are in Virginia and Jeanie is in Pa. The rest of their children are deceased. There are many, many grandchildren, I am one of the oldest. I also attended many reunions in the past. They were usually held at Hasson Park. And there were soooooo many Plegers. Aunt Rose may be around still, not sure. There are some cousins that live near Oakwood Rose Gardens too.
