Pleiss from Uslar, Germany, 19th century

My wife's great grandparents were Wilhelm Diedrich and Caroline Augusta(?) (Wienieke) Pleiss of Uslar, Germany. They were probably married about 1870-73 in Uslar. Children born in Germany were: Frederica (1873), Heinrich P. (1876), Paul G. (1877), Wilhelm H. (1881) and Carl (1880-81).
The father, Wilhelm D., was a cigarmaker in Uslar and was born about 1847-48, son of Frederich Pleiss and Minnie Bestiko(?). Caroline Wienieke Pleiss is thought to have been born about 1852, daughter of Wilhelm Wienieke, probably of Uslar or area. A Heinrich Pleiss, gardner of Colmar, was a sponsor at baptism of Wilhelm H. Pleiss in 1881. Wilhelm D. Pleiss family settled in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 1884-5.
Any information about these families will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

F. Brennan Harrington, Ellicott City, Maryland, USA
