I have your answers. Sorry for the late response. It has been a long time since I checked in here. Emanuel Pleiss' father is John Pleiss (who also went by the spelling P-L-A-I-S-S. If fact, it's the same guy Alice is asking about a few posts up.

I know all this because John is my g-g-g grandfather and I have been researching the family history (off and on) for years. I have traced the line back to 1600. I have tons of info - way to much to communicate here. I'll keep checking in and hope you pick this up soon and we'll figure out the best way for me to get all this stuff to you.

I am looking forward to hearing from you as well. I don't know anything about Emanuel's descendants and would like to.
